Unai Mieza joined Lozano Schindhelm in November 2016 as director of the office in Bilbao.

He graduated in Law at the University of Deusto (Bilbao) in in 1997 and after finishing the Master in Legal Practice in the Higher Institute of Law and Economics of Barcelona (ISDE) he completed courses in in international private law and foreign commerce in the Higher Institute of Law and Economics of Barcelona, and digital law in the University of Salamanca. He has a wide experience in legal practice with a clear focus on advising companies in an international environment.

Expertise

Unai Mieza advises national and international companies in the areas of corporate law, procedural law, insolvency, criminal compliance and digital law.

In criminal compliance matters he is specialised in the drafting and preparation of programs for the prevention of criminal risks for companies with an international focus, , as well as advice in the execution and implementation of the programs once they have been implanted in the companies.

Another strength is the digital law, particularly the development of of startups and e-commerce projects oriented to the international market.
