Background

Anna Specht-Schampera is a partner at SDZLEGAL Schindhelm and heads the Public Procurement and Waste Management Law team.

She studied law at the University of Wrocław from 1991 to 1996.

Between 1997 and 2000, she served her attorney-at-law training at the Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law in Wałbrzych and in 2001 was registered as attorney-at-law by the Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law in Wałbrzych.

She is a co-founder and member of the audit committee of the Public Procurement Law Association [SPZP], as well as a member of the All-Poland Association of Public Procurement Consultants [OSKZP]. She actively acts as a legal expert for the Council of Regional Installations for the Processing of Municipal Waste [RIPOK], and cooperates with the National Forum of Directors of Municipal Cleaning Plants and the Chamber of the Municipal Industry.

She lectures on postgraduate studies "Management of Municipal Waste Management" at the Faculty of Process Engineering and Environmental Protection of the Technical University of Łódź and "Public Procurement Law" at the Faculty of Law of the University of Łódź.

Author of numerous articles published, among others, in the monthly magazine "Przetargi Publiczne" and other professional journals, dealing with issues of public procurement law, waste management law and environmental protection. She conducts training courses, conferences and seminars, both in Polish and German, for economic entities and public institutions.

She is a regular collaborator of the "Przetargi Publiczne" monthly, the Abrys Sp. z o.o. company with its seat in Poznań, the publisher of the "Przegląd Komunalny" monthly and the EKORUM company, an organiser of training conferences on waste management.

Winner of numerous industry awards. Starting from 2016, for 9 consecutive years, she was distinguished in the Chambers & Partners ranking as a specialist in public procurement law.

In 2022 and 2023 she was individually recommended in the prestigious ranking of law firms The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East & Africa in the category of Public Procurement Law.

She was ranked among the "Top 10 Most Influential Public Procurement Lawyers in Poland 2023", being recognised as one of the most influential public procurement law experts in Poland and receiving the LAWYER AWARD 2023, awarded by BUSINESS TODAY.
